2011 3rd World Congress on Software Engineering (WCSE 2011)

WCSE 2011 is an international forum for researchers and engineers to present and discuss recent innovations and new techniques in software engineering. 

WCSE 2011 conference proceedings will be submitted to Ei Compendex and ISTP for indexing (WCSE 2009 and WCSE 2010 proceedings were already indexed in Ei Compendex). Selected papers will be published in related journal special issues in IEEE Transactions on Information Technology in Biomedicine (SCI; Impact Factor: 1.694),  Decision Support Systems (SCI; Impact Factor: 2.622), Information Systems Frontiers (SCI; Impact Factor: 1.309), Information Systems Management (SCI; Impact Factor: 0.756), Systems Research and Behavioral Science (SSCI; Impact Factor: 0.415, for papers on software engineering management), and The Engineering Economist (for papers on the technological economic study on software engineering),  after expansion, review, and revision as required. The registration fee of US$420 or RMB 2700 includes publication of 1 paper, lunches, dinners, and banquet.

Specific topics of interest include, but are not limited to: Software metrics; Software tools and development environments; Software policy and ethics; Programming languages; Internet and information systems development;  Software requirements; Software architecture and design; Software components and reuse; Software testing and analysis; Human-Computer Interaction; Software processes and workflows; Software dependability, safety, privacy and reliability; Reverse engineering and maintenance; Program comprehension and visualization, etc.. 

Guangzhou is a sub-tropical city located at the north of the Pearl River delta, with an ever-green scenery and flowers blooming all the year round. The city boasts a history of more than 2,800 years and many tourist attractions, among which highlights are White Cloud Hill Scenic Spot, Yuexiu Park, Six Banyan Temple and Flowery Pagoda, Sun Yatsen Memorial Hall. In the Suburbs, there are such scenic spot on Conghua Hot Springs, Xiqiao Hill Scenic spot, Seven Star Crags, and Foshan City. "Eating in Guangzhou" has become a popular saying both at home and abroad. Guangzhou ranks first in the number of restaurants and tea-houses in the country. Cantonese cuisine is good in color, fragrance, taste and presentation.
